Hanako 'Rosalina' Nurumi

Vanyel's girlfriend, for lack of any better word. He loves her dearly, and it's mainly thanks to her presence in Xistentia that he's managed to stay more or less sane. The psylink they formed in defense of the city only deepened their bond; she now knows him better than even Erandur and Serana do.

Vex

One of Vanyel's few close friends from Eudio who made it to the city, and the other person whose presence has helped him stay sane. They've admittedly drifted apart since Vex hooked up with Kavinsky, and the dramatic fallout hasn't helped. Vanyel is definitely keen to reconnect, though.

Farraige

Rose's other boyfriend. They talked a few times back in Eudio, but didn't formally meet until a few weeks after arriving in Xist. Vanyel was determined to at least be polite for Rose's sake, but the better he gets to know the other mage the more he likes him on his own merits.

Rafaello d'Este

A familiar face from Eudio - for more reasons than one. Vanyel still doesn't know him quite as well as he'd like, but he's a friend of Rose's and Vanyel's never had issues with him (false memory driven conflict from the prison world notwithstanding).

Magnus Lightwood-Bane

Another familiar face from cuddle city, though much like Rafa, it's not quite as familiar on its own merits as he'd like. They have managed to have another interesting conversation since their arrival in Xistentia though - this time about fatherhood.

Era Ra

An adventurer from a world that is, apparently, more similar to Tamriel than most. They discussed the differences in their various magic systems at length via text, and he got to see some of her abilities in action during both the exploration of Blackavar Island and the recent battle.

Aymeric de Borel

One of those who signed on for the excursion to Blackavar Island; they got the chance to talk a little before the party split up to explore the cave system, and then again at the Halloween party. Vanyel finds him extremely attractive, though he didn't act on it at first - and likely won't ever, at this point.

Alec Lightwood-Bane

One of the first responders to the post about the Blackavar Island map, though he didn't end up joining the party. He made several good points, though; that, along with the knowledge that he's Rose's friend and Magnus' husband, leaves Vanyel predisposed to like him at least a litle.
